The Mets are slumping. Hard.
They lost to the Braves 6-3 tonight and only picked up two hits. All their runs came on back-to-back-to-back bases loaded walks in the third inning.
The Mets have dropped five of their last six. Rough.

BOOYAH!
ReplyDeleteSorry about that, it just kinda came out. Frustrating third inning for us, but I can only imagine it's worse for the Mets.
What'd you think of Jair Jurrjens though?
I think Jurrjens is still a better pitcher than those walks would indicate.
ReplyDeleteSo tell me...
are the Mets fans on their last nerve with Delgado? I heard him getting boo's tonight after the strikeout in the 8th.
What about Willie?
Tomorrow's another game and a GREAT pitching matchup. I always like seeing talent like Maine go up against our Tim Hudson.
Here's to a good series, fellas.
Colin, whassup?

Haha hey guys.
ReplyDeleteJair was good. I was unable to watch the game, but from what I read, sans the third, it was a very solid start.
Yes. Delgado is this close to getting run out of the city by the fans.
Willie...not so much. The talent is there, but the guys are just completely ineffective.
I'm in Maine, so another missed game for me, but hopefully since I'm in the state, our pitcher with the same name will preform well. ;)
You're in Maine but you'll be missing Maine...
ReplyDeletesounds like some bad riddle.
