Another one-run victory by the Marlins in a game between Johan Santana and Josh Johnson.
The Florida Marlins (13-8) beat the New York Mets (9-12) by a score of 4-3.

Santana let up two runs in the first inning, including a solo home run to Jorge Cantu. He shut out the Marlins over the next six. J.J. Putz walked the first two batters in the 8th inning and both came around to score.
The Mets got runs out of the bottom of the order, with Alex Cora, Ramon Castro and Fernando Tatis driving in all the Mets runs. Tatis’ RBI came on a solo home run in the sixth inning.
The Mets loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth inning, but couldn’t score.
